This SUV  is fitted with a powerful 4.5-litre diesel engine (1VD-FTV), which comes with a displacement capacity of 4461 cc. It is integrated with eight cylinders and thirty two valves, which is based on DOHC (double overhead camshaft) valve configuration. This common rail direct injection based diesel power plant has the ability of churning out a maximum power of 261.4bhp at 3400 rpm in combination with a hammering torque output of 650 Nm between 1600 to 2600 rpm, which is rather decent for this class.
