Good powertrain, comfortable, inferior plastics!

The main reason behind buying this car was because I truly love the 1st Gen Figo that I used for 5 years and 1 Lakh kms. In simple words, the 2nd Gen Figo Impresses me with its Powertrain as drivability is I think, among the best out there and the overall suspension setup and steering weight ensure that it doesn't tire you after long distances. I also love the upholstery. What lets me down was that the 2nd Generation Figo has a less European feel like the 1st Gen car. It no longer feels like a low slung, heavy and reassuring like the old car and the suspension setup is more towards comfort than performance. Really disappointing is the quality of materials inside the car. You get hard plastics, the steering wheel feels hard and cheap and everytime you use the horn, the horn button feels hollow and exudes that same feeling that I got when I drove a base model Mahindra Bolero and all this gets really irksome everytime you drive. I really feel that if Ford gave the 2nd Gen Figo a flavor of comfort, they should have ensured that the things like steering, etc coming in continuous contact with the driver be if at least the the level of feel as the old car, if not better!
