Xuv700 A Top Class SUV
Mahindra Xuv700 - Thanks to Mahindra's new testing facility, we were able to reach 160 kmph without intending to or needing to. It simply naturally surfaced. However, it isn't the quietest engine on the market. Up to 2,000 rpm, not so much, but beyond that, one can hear and feel the distinctively gritty sound of a diesel engine. Every time one applies and releases the throttle, there is a little suggestion of drivetrain lash. Both are not annoying; they are only a little unexpected from such a plush computer. The six-speed manual shifts smoothly. The clutch is delicate and quick.
