Skoda Karoq is most likely to feature a panoramic sunroof once launched. We expect Skoda to price the Karoq in the Rs 20-25 lakh price range where it will take on the likes of the Jeep Compass and Hyundai Tucson. It is likely to be unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo, where Skoda is also planning to debut the India-spec Kamiq.
Both cars are of different price ranges. Skoda Karoq is around Rs. 7.6 lakh costlier as compared to the top Spec. of Kia Seltios. Skoda Karoq turned out to be an SUV with a lot of potentials. It packs a very spacious and upmarket cabin to keep the family happy, an engine that strikes the right balance between fun and practical, and a suspension setup already ready for Indian roads. The only place where the Karoq can fall short is the looks. Not because it's not a good looking SUV, but because it lacks the traditional muscular flavour which our market generally goes for. If budget is not an issue and you want a with great build quality and premium cabin and comfortable drive quality, you may go for Skoda Karoq. On the other hand, the Seltos impressed us So much that all we could complain about was a lack of under-thigh support and the rather stiff ride quality. There are even choices galore in terms of variants, trim and equipment levels. And more than anything its pricing makes it one of the hottest picks in the segment. You may compare both the cars accordingly. Do take a test drive in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
