Hi, Ford Ecosport was my first car, so I went through a lot of suggestions and test drive before deciding on Ford Ecosport. I had a love towards SUV, but due to budget constraints, thought of getting mini SUV I had Ford Ecosport, Nexon in my mind. Nexon was my first test drive car, it was good but something was missing. I didn't feel that I was driving a compact SUV, it was more like a premium hatchback. WRV was left out as I didn't like those lot of plastic claddings .. Then had my Ford Ecosport TD, once I got into the car, I felt like I was sitting in some SUV, more road presence and high sitting comfort. I decided and went forward with Ford Ecosport. The delivery process was hassle free, for the facelift variant on the promised date. I haven't driven much before Ford Ecosport and was worrying can I drive this beast. But I was taken by surprise, the handling control and driving pleasure, no other car can match. I completed 20000 km in the first year, for a first-time driver it's not bad. I was like, this car knows my mind, did whatever I wanted to. Pros - The seats are comfortable, can drive for long without fatigue , AC and sound systems are perfect - AC cools the car quickly and audio is good, if not the best. Got sufficient storage spaces and boot space is adequate. Easy to drive and move around in traffic. The pleasure to drive on highways. Mileage is around 16 km/l in cities and upto 21 km/l on highways. Mine is a diesel variant Titanium version. Cons - The cabin space is average and difficult for three grownups to sit in the back row . Being a turbocharged engine, I feel turbo lag in low revs, but as a beast, once it crosses 1800rpm Apart from these, everything else is positive for me. Services are good and maintenance is cheap. Overall, Ford Ecosport is for those who want driving to be a pleasure.
