Mercedes Benz India, the Indian ancillary of the German auto giant has launched the 2014 version of its luxury saloon, Mercedes Benz S Class. This latest edition is full of extravagance and opulence unlike any other saloon in this segment. By launching the new Mercedes Benz S Class S 500 , the company made it clear that it is leaving no stone in the automobile segment to regain the top slot. Powering this particular saloon is the magnanimous V8, 4.7-litre, twin-turbocharged petrol power plant that can produce an immense power of 459bhp and yields a mammoth 700Nm of torque output. It takes only about 4.8 seconds for the vehicle to cross the 100 Kmph speed barrier, which is remarkable. This latest edition it completely aristocratic and it is blessed with an array of features including an advanced 1560 watt 'Burmester' audio system with 24-speakers along with 250GB of hard disk capacity.
