One of the best cars I've owned till now far better than Swift and Amaze. They literally don't give any competition in this price range in terms of average pickup and safety. Etios also have many more features that are big leg room, better boot space, ACs are amazing and also you will rarely see this feature in Etios that is they have AC in the dash box as well to keep things soft or hard drinks cool.

Built quality is not good and looks also not good. Price is higher than other cars.

In the Toyota Etios Cross, the clutch is very hard, it doesn't even show the average of the car while other cars with the same pricing show that and all 4 speakers are in front which does not let the passengers sitting at the back enjoy the sound.

The Toyota Etios is an absolutely wonderful family car. The car may be down-to-earth in the looks department but the running of the car is smooth as "maska", no jerks and no jolts. The steering of the car is very easy and light enough for even a young girl to drive comfortably. The car can be very easily turned around even in small places. Etios gives an excellent mileage. The storage place (dicky) is amazingly large for a car so small. It can take 2 large suitcases and one medium sized bag, besides the spare wheel and the regular maintenance kit. The driver?s seat is adjustable for height. The driver?s seat and the front passenger?s seat can be adjusted for movement to the front or behind. The backrest for the driver?s seat and the front passenger?s seat can be adjusted. The passenger seat at the back can comfortably accommodate 3 passengers. The leg space between the front and rear seats is sufficient for even a 6? tall person to sit in comfort. The interior of the car is homely with nothing fancy. The music system is very neat looking with excellent sound quality. The USB facility is helpful for listening to music stored on a pen-drive. The Air conditioner is excellent with three adjustable speeds. The air vents are placed at the right places so that even in the warm summer months of March to September, the rear passengers can feel the cool air conditioner breeze comfortably. The car?s maintenance cost is very small, roughly about Rs 4000 per annum for a once a year check-up and maintenance. The range of colour options provided by Toyota for the Etios model is also very good. In my view the white colour Etios and the sliver coloured Etios are the most popular, as seen on the road. I have a sliver coloured car which even after 3 years gives a nice and bright shine. The height of the car with reference to the road is reasonably good so that while clearing speed breakers, the car doesn?t graze the speed breaker. Considering the on-road price of Rs 7 lacs approx for the car in Mumbai, it is more than a full value-for-money car.

Look and Style: It's look is masciline amongst compact hatchbacks. Comfort is really excellent. It is quite spacious even when the front seats are pushed to their extremes. Angle adjustments give appropriate positions. Pickup: It is quite impressive in town driving. Mileage: Mileage is around 20 km per litres which might improve over time. Best Features: It's a world class Toyota engine which has proved to be dependable. It is spacious compared to other similar cars in its segment. Its brake system is very much efficient. Overall Experience It has to however match with other manufacturers in providing multiuse components like GPRS, Auto central locking, Steering wheel function in GD models as well as Bluetooth. It does not provide key less entry and start/stop switch etc. It must be on par with other car features who are providing a lot at same price range. It does not compete with others with a killer spirit.
