My First Car

Graduating from a motorcycle to a four wheeler is always a special feeling. To top it up, when it's got to be a brand name like Maruti there is that re-assurance of quality, reliability and comfort. It has almost been a year since I purchased the Maruti Alto 800 LXI variant and I enjoy every single bit of it. It is really compact which means parking in a country like ours is fairly easy. I like its exterior design especially the nose that features a chunky grille with pulled back headlamps. The sharp shoulder line along with plastic hubcaps is a standout for me while the tailgate with its elegant look does seem nice. I prefer the dark grey interior to other brands. Features like silver accents on speedometer, door handles and metallic finish given to the steering wheel did attract me towards it. Most importantly the engine works well to provide me with an impressive mileage of more than 18 kmpl within the city.
