    Best in Class BMW 320i.
    Best in class, BMW 320i gives smooth ride with comfortable seating space. Mileage is around 10kmpl. The look is still superior with respect to other cars. Superb car.

    Entry Segment Luxury
    I have had one my daily driver and I can tell you the ride is much sporty as compared to the Mercedes C Class or the Audi A4. The interiors are much better and give a personalised feel. The handling is great and beyond comparison to the other two with swift and smooth accelerations. The diesel variant gives a brilliant mileage considering it to be luxury sedan at around 19-20 kmpl while riding on highways and smoother roads. The silence inside the cabin while driving is fascinating. The car seems to be very agile and handles turns and curves very easily. The new model has very distinctive eye catching looks with edgy and modern detailing. The car comes in both petrol and diesel models with 6 and 3 variants respectively. The Diesel variants are namely the Prestige, Sport Line, Luxury Line, GT Sport Line, M Sport and GT Luxury Line. Whereas the Petrol has Prestige, Luxury and GT Luxury only. Both fuel models come in 2000 cc and all 9 models are automatic. The features vary accordingly and are genuinely worth getting upgraded. Something interesting to note is the aggressive pricing that BMW has put forward. The base BMW 3 Series model is the 320d Prestige at 36.9 lakhs providing you 2.0 litre 190 bhp at 4000 rpm. Whereas Audi A4's base model 30 TFSI Premium Plus starts at 38.1 lakhs (petrol only) giving you only 1.4 litre 150 bhp at 5000 rpm, that is an underpowered engine for 2 lakhs more with boring exteriors and plain bland interiors and no charm. Coming to Mercedes, the base model C Class is C220 CDI Style providing you a 2.2 litre 170 bhp at 3000 rpm, a good engine with 20 bhp less in comparison and the difference is visible while driving. Also, BMW provides 18 inch alloys whereas Audi would provide you with 17 inch and Mercedes with 16 inch in their base models. The aggressive pricing makes it the best entry segment luxury sedan anyone can get. BMW's usually prefer rear wheel drives (RWD) and all the variants in 3 series are following the same lineage. The 3 series can achieve a maximum speed of 230 km/hr which is brilliant with (0-100) in 7.2 seconds. Also BMW is the only entry segment luxury car complying to Euro VI standards, the rest are Euro V. Having a fairly large boot at 480 litres, it can easily stuff in baggages of your family of 4, making it a wonderful touring car as well. 3 Series also packs a perfect 50-50 weight distribution ratio and giving the car an unmatchable grip and as a result a lower turning radius of just 5.5m! BMW has made sure that an 8 speed automatic shifter remains a standard throughout all of their models which is amazing. The hard work and passion that BMW puts in is beyond visible, one can feel it in every simple intricate detail. From their infotainment system to their leather stitching, cup holders, smooth AC vent lines running across, daytime running LEDs, the BMW 3 Series is of no match in its segment.

    My Dream Machine
    Look and Style: There cannot be any car (sedan) which can match the clean lines of the beamer. The imperial blue colour adds to the style, glamour or whatever quotient you may call it. There cannot be a better-looking car than this.  Comfort: Excellent comfort both in the front and rear seats. I have done two long trips and both me as a driver and my wife and kids never felt any discomfort. Both highway and city comfort is exemplary. Pickup: It is for the driver to experience this, no words can describe the sheer exhilaration that this car provides. Mileage: Good, did Udaipur trip and 1/4 way back in a full tank around 800 odd kilometres. For the package that you get the mileage is excellent. Best Features: Everything. The driving pleasure, the handling and one of the best keeping secrets the factory fitted Harmon Kardon music system.  Needs to improve: Nothing. Overall Experience: Sheer Driving Pleasure.

    Best Value for Money in Luxury
    Look and Style: Extremely good looking, frameless windows make it look leagues apart. Comfort: Great comfort, it has more legroom, more than 5 series. Pickup: Very nice. Mileage: 15 kmpl. Best Features: Large sunroof, dual Ac, Automatic boot opening feature, lock and unlock all windows with the key. Needs to improve: Nothing much Overall Experience: Very much satisfied with this car.

    Never buy it for free
    Look and Style: The car's Looks are good. Comfort: Ok. Pickup: Pickup is also good. Mileage: I get around 11 kmpl. Best Features: Looks and Brand name, that's it. Needs to improve: They need to improve on a lot of things. Overall Experience: This car is not suitable for the Indian roads. I have been driving this car from last one year in Jaipur, run flat tyre got side bulge in just 8500 Kms. Two right side rims got bent from inside due to potholes! You need a separate road to drive this car. It is too delicate for Indian roads.

    An Excellent Entry Sedan
    Look and Style: The 3 Series BEAMER has always been the best selling not just because it is the entry level sedan of this class of luxury sedans but also because it always had the edge in styling over its German peers. The striking looks add to its youthful drive (I consider it more of a self-driven car than chauffeur driven). Comfort: Excellent comfort for the front seats. Not so much for the rear. Pickup: Amazing performance. Always gives me the thrills when decide to push the pedal to the metal! Mileage: A decent 12 kilometres on a litre. In fact, I think it's excellent for 170 horses. Best Features: I love everything in it. Don't want to change a thing. Needs to improve: Nothing Overall Experience: Amazing car!!

    Works great so far
    Look and Style - By far the most modern looking BMW. It looks meaner and sportier than the outgoing 5th generation 3 series. Especially, the corona rings (LED) are a treat to watch. Comfort - I must admit, after having driven a 5th generation 3-series in the US, I was worried about the ride quality for rear-passengers. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find the latest generation BMW sold in India is very well-adapted for Indian conditions. Most imperfections of the Indian roads are absorbed effortlessly - thanks to the comfort mode suspension settings. However, you will feel the really bad bumps. The 5-series is better on this front. I suspect, if you get rid of the run-flats, the ride quality would be even better. Pickup - After having had a 255-bhp, 330i in the past, I know, driving a 320d would be a step-down, in the area. However, for Indian conditions, this puppy has enough juice under the hood to keep you ahead of the pack at all times. Of course, the acceleration isn't linear. It needs to rev close to 2000 rmp to start showing its true colors. Hey, for a great mileage & killer looks - this is good enough. One negative is that at lower RPMs, this does sound a bit like your Dad's old Ambassador ( unlike the legendary sounds made by the petrol variants). If this is a deal-breaker, read no further and get a real sports Car. Mileage - In EcoPro mode, I easily got 12 kmpl in bad bumper-bumper traffic in Hyderabad. And when I drove on the nearby freeway, it was easily clocking 15kmpl. Best Features - Efficient Dynamics, seats, interiors Needs to improve - BMW needs to stop treating Indian consumers as idiots. They need to realize that they are near the end of selling to the "nouveau riche" or the yelliah/malliah/reddybuilder/politician/businessman types. If they want to sell more in future, they are going to have to deal with the extra knowledgeable, internet savvy, globally aware, well educated & demanding Indians. So, quit playing games like introducing meaningless stripped-down variants for Indian markets, not allowing wide color choices (interior/exterior) & delaying launches of newer looking models for India just to clear the lots with older generation cars. Give us all the variants/features that Americans & Europeans get. Afterall, we pay over twice as much as those guys, don't we ? Overall Experience - No regrets so far. To be extra safe, have BMW secure & BSI ultimate. Indian road conditions are so unpredictable. So, you really don't want to take chances.

    Look and Style excellent but paint quality should be better.   Comfort Good Pickup excellent Mileage between 15 to 16.5 . total driven 92000km. Best Features looks , drive , fuel efficiency and pickup. Needs to improve The paint qualitydoesn't seem to very good. the door sqeaking is a constant problem especially after car wash. Overall Experience very good
