Chevrolet Beat, a sporty hatchback in the B segment car is a very light and peppy car. The diesel model has 1 Liter XSDE SMARTECH 3-cylinder Common Rail engine, capable of producing a maximum power output of 57.33bhp@4000 rpm and a maximum torque of 150 Nm@1750 rpm. This engine power and torque can readily accelerate the car, so that it can reach to a speed of 100kmph in 15.5 seconds and has a top speed of 145kmph. The engine of the car is mated with a 5 speed manual transmission gearbox which is highly fuel efficient and is economical to run by providing a very excellent mileage.
