Renault India has officially rolled out the Travelogue Edition of its premium sedan Scala in the automobile market. This new edition is available in two diesel and three petrol variants among which, the Renault Scala RxL Travelogue is a mid level petrol version. This trim comes with exclusive features in terms of both exteriors and interiors. On the outside, it has stylish body decals, external wing mirrors with integrated side turn blinkers and rear muffler cutter featuring a sporty exhaust tail pipe. In terms interiors, it comes with aspects like rear sun shade, illuminated scuff plates and an integrated MediaNav system. Powering this trim is the 1.5-litre, XH2 petrol mill that is mated with a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. It is capable of producing 97.64bhp in combination with a peak torque of 134Nm, which is quite decent. The company is offering this new variant with comfort features like driver seat height adjuster, a multi-information display and several other such aspects. In terms of safety, it has airbags, ABS+EBD with emergency brake assist function, anti-theft device with alarm and numerous other features. This variant comes with an additional 2-year warranty along with free roadside assistance for four years, which is quite attractive for the buyers.

Its front wheels are fitted with a set of high performance disc brakes and the rear ones are paired with conventional drum brakes. This braking mechanism gets further assistance from anti lock braking system along with electronic brake force distribution and emergency brake assist as well. Its front axle is fitted with McPherson Strut system whereas the rear axle is coupled with torsion beam system, which is capable of dealing with shocks and potholes. This sedan also comes with an electric power assisted steering system featuring tilt and telescopic adjustment.

The Renault Scala RxL Travelogue Edition is the mid range variant yet it is bestowed with top rated features.
