I'm having the Chevy Beat Petrol Variant for 4.5 years now, my overall experience with the car is very good.This car is good for long drives.The top it LT model has all power windows, rear wiper, rear spoiler, rear defogger, front fog lights and automatic climate control along with audio CD system with 4 speakers.Feature wise and price wise it was a great deal compared to its competitors i10 and WagonR at the time of purchasing.Went through many cars but found Beat to be the best of all. In a city, I get a mileage of around 11.5-12 km pl with AC on at all times while on highways with AC on 17 km pl with AC on and speed constant about 100 kmph while 19.66 kmpl with AC off and speed maximum to 80 kmph. These figures are very accurate as per my experience of 4.5 years with it. The car is good in maintenance as well, only beware of the Chevrolet Service centers they unnecessarily do extra jobs and increase your bills, make sure you do the service only as per the service book for the first 3 years from the Chevrolet authorized service station for the warranty purpose.Once the car is out of warranty, find a reliable service station near your home and get it serviced there every 5000 kms or every 1 year. I had once got a quote from Chevrolet of Rs.7500 for the service after 3 years which my local service station did in just Rs.4400. Overall it's a good car, there is a minor pickup issue when AC is on, you could feel it while overtaking, but shift down does the work at that time.
