Ford Endeavour is a great SUV and as a popular product, it's hard to find any fault in it. With the amazing combination of space, looks and performance it has been giving a tough fight to its counterparts including Toyota Fortuner. I have been driving this tech loaded beast for more than 7 months now and I must say, it's a true Sports Utility Vehicle by all means. Commonly known for its rugged built and brawny drive, Ford Endeavour has had quite a good fan following since its launch way back in the year 2004. New Ford Endeavour is built on Ford?s Edge design philosophy, retaining its muscular style. The car gets aggressive front fa-ade that features four-slat chrome radiator grille, body coloured bumpers and refreshed fog lamps. On the sides, changes are quite evident with shoulder line tapered towards the back which looks different against the boxy appearance of the older car. Inside the cabin, Ford Endeavour retains the 7-seats layout that has 8-way adjustable driver?s seat. As mentioned, the vehicle is tech loaded to the teeth, it gets Terrain Management System with four adjustment settings such as Snow/Mud/ Grass, Sand, and Rock. Other features in the list include modern instrument cluster, leather upholstery, electrically operable driver's seat, dual-zone climate control, rear air-con, Ford SYNC 3 system with voice control, and a large 8-inch display screen with USB and Bluetooth connectivity. The upcoming model will feature updated SYNC 3 which is the advanced voice-activated version that also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Ford Endeavour is offered in two diesel engine options- a 2.2 L mill that generates power output of 158bhp and maximum torque of 385Nm and the 3.2L diesel that can produce the output of 197bhp and torque of 470Nm. I chose the latter one since my requirements were high. So, Ford Endeavour is a perfect mix of luxury, comfort, punchy diesel mills with strong road presence. And top of it, the 5-star safety ratings with features such as 7-airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP and hill launch assist makes it a tempting buy in its class.
