Mahindra Verito better known as ‘Poor Man’s sedan’ has been doing pretty well in the Indian car market since the time it has been introduced in the country. Mahindra & Mahindra made a smart move and launched this one in both diesel and petrol variants. Mahindra Verito 1.4 G4 BSIII is the second petrol variant in the range, which has been developed keeping in mind the basic needs and requirements of an Indian consumer. The roomy and spacious interiors have been coupled with decent exteriors that help the car to climb up a notch. The technical features of this one have also been maintained so much that it manages to deliver good power and mileage figures. Under the hood of Mahindra Verito 1.4 G4 BSIII, you will find 1.4-litre 8V MPFI petrol engine, which comfortably produces peak power output of 75bhp along with generating 110Nm of maximum torque. The engine being coupled to 5-speed manual transmission makes the car drive steady and very smooth. Even the mileage figures delivered by the car are not disappointing. Engine

This petrol motor has the capacity to producing 75 of peak power at the rate of 5500 rpm and 110Nm of maximum torque at the rate of 3000 rpm. To boost the performance of the car, the engine here has been coupled with 5-speed manual transmission , which gives the car an opportunity to go from 0 to 100 kmph in 15.8 seconds with a top speed of about 152 kmph. On the mileage front, the car engine is a great and is capable of delivering 11.3 kmpl of mileage on the city roads, while 15.7 kmpl of mileage is given out on the smooth highways.
