The reputed home grown auto maker, Mahindra and Mahindra, has introduced the updated version of Xylo in the country's car market. It is available in various trims with two diesel engine options. Out of these, Mahindra Xylo D2 BSIV is an entry level diesel trim that is incorporated with a 2.5-litre, mDI power plant. This mill is skillfully paired with an efficient five speed manual transmission gear box. It helps the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 in close to 17 seconds, which is rather good. This motor can generate 93.7bhp peak power along with maximum torque output of 218Nm, which is good considering the Indian road conditions. The manufacturer has blessed it with an efficient suspension system that is based on the comfort drive technology. In terms of exteriors, it has an aggressive front fascia with aspects like a large radiator grille and a black colored bumper. Its front axle is assembled with a double wishbone type of mechanism with independent front suspension. While the rear axle is fitted with a multi link coil spring type of a system. On the other hand, the company has given it a robust braking mechanism. Its front wheels are incorporated with a set of disc brakes and the rear ones get conventional drum brakes as well. This variant is blessed with an electronic power steering system, which is tilt adjustable and makes handling convenient. This steering wheel supports a minimum turning radius of 5.5 meters, which is quite good for this class.

Comfort Features:

The company has given this variant quite a few convenient aspects that gives the occupants a comfortable driving experience. It has an efficient HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioner) unit, which also has rear AC vents for cooling the spacious cabin.
