I am driving Wagon R, I guess since the last 20 years now. If you want to drive a car and you have a budget, maintenance, fuel economy and looks in mind, then Wagon R is the choice. Let me give a brief on the pros and cons of the car. First, the pros.  The car is compact in size and make the best choice for a small family of 4-5 people. If the number of people are 4, then the comfort level is the highest. The MPFI engine is excellent and if fine tuned properly, the car can glide pleasantly on the roads. The engine being a 1099 CC engine has optimum power for a car of this segment.The car's torque is good and it can take sharp turns very easily. With a regular service after every 5000 Kilometres or 6 months whichever is earlier, the engine performance remains excellent. The body is tough and can withstand small contacts with other metals. Coming to the cons, the gear box still remains a little jittery, especially the 1st gear and the reverse gear. While shifting gears, these pose a little hindrance. Apart from that, there are absolutely no cons which I can think of. The car's maintenance cost is very low as compared to other cars in the same segment. The Maruti Genuine spare parts are easily available not only in the Maruti Authorized service centres but in any small spare parts shops as well. The car can be driven smoothly and confidently for long drives of up to 5 to 6 hours without a feel of tiredness. The boot space of the car has good enough space to keep two small sized bags easily. The seat backs are adjustable to fit in any medium sized equipment, like a washing machine too. Overall, I will say buying a Wagon R will never be a regret. So, go for it and happy driving!
