Hyundai Motors India Limited has silently introduced the automatic version of Hyundai Grand i10 in the Indian car bazaar. The automatic version of Grand i10 is made available in two trim levels. This Hyundai Grand i10 AT Sportz is one of those two new variants in the model series and its petrol mill has been coupled with a four speed automatic transmission gearbox. The company retained all the exterior and interior features that were offered in the existing Sportz variant and the price has been made quite competitive. As far as the engine is concerned, this Hyundai Grand i10 AT Sportz is equipped with a 1.2-litre Kappa Dual VTVT engine that produces 1197cc of displacement capacity. The South Korean automaker has introduced this model series to the country barely few months ago and now launched this automatic version to add to its model portfolio. This latest variant has some a set of exciting features such as all four power windows, electrically adjustable outside mirrors, power steering with tilt adjustable column, a push button start/stop function and an advanced music system just to name a few. As far as safety aspects are concerned, this latest version gets an engine immobilizer, a reverse parking sensor, central locking system and other advanced functions. This hatchback model series was already doing quite well in the car bazaar and with the newly introduced automatic version, the sales will further go a level higher.

The style and appearance of this latest Hyundai Grand i10 AT Sportz is no different in comparison to the existing Sportz variant. The South Korean auto major hasn't made any changes to the exterior design or its structure. To begin with the front profile, this hatchback has been stylishly decorated with a swept back design headlight cluster that amplifies the front profile. This cluster surrounds the radiator grille, which is very sleek and has been designed with a chrome plated vertical slat and company logo. Below this, there is a large air dam housed on the body colored bumper that intakes air for quicker engine cooling. The front bumper has been painted in body color and has been designed with a lot of sporty cues. The round shaped fog lights incorporated to the bumper will further enhance the visibility. Coming to the side profile, the wheel arches have been fitted with a set of steel wheels, which are further covered with wheel caps. This engine produces 1197cc displacement capacity that enables it to churn out a peak power of 81.9bhp at 6000rpm, while generating a maximum 113.8Nm of torque output at 4000rpm. The engine power will be distributed to the front wheels via a four speed automatic transmission gearbox that shifts the gears smoothly and draws superior performance out of this petrol mill.

Braking and Handling :

The South Korean passenger car manufacturer hasn't compromised on the braking and handling aspects of this new trim. The all new Hyundai Grand i10 AT Sportz variant is blessed with a proficient disc and drum brakes fitted to the front and rear wheels respectively . This superior braking combination offers reliable and precise braking on the go. On the other hand, the company has incorporated this hatchback with a robust suspension system that takes care of drive comforts and further enhances the handling aspects. The front axle has been bestowed with McPherson Strut type of suspension system, whereas its rear axle has been bestowed with coupled torsion beam axle type of system. Furthermore, the highly sensitive power steering system makes it easy for the driver to steer away from the city traffic.

The comfort features offered inside this hatchback are perhaps the best in its class, which will enhance the level of luxury inside this hatch.
