Well, to start off... Honda WR-V is impressive in most ways. Many things to ponder and contemplate during the selection phase, but most of the claims prove to be apt and the overall value proposition is amazing. I own the Diesel Top Model, Premium amber in color, so the overall observation is confined to the diesel model, not entirely sure about the petrol version :). What doe a middle class, or remotely upper middle class aspire in a car: It's affordable features, mileage, decent look, safety features which are not compromised and of-course a premium feel despite not really being a premium offering at a decent on-road price (EMI constraints is so common). Well Honda Wr-V proves to be offering all of the above and more. It is more than decent in almost all the sub-categories for a car to be categorized as a winner car for the respective brands, in this case Honda.. Features: 9/10 (Of-course, no apple play and google play makes it a tad disappointing) Safety: 8.5/10, (Brake assist is missing) Driving comfort and manoeuvring: 8.5/10 (City drive and highway drive is equally comfortable) Overall space and ground clearance: 9.5/10 (Too good) Aerodynamics: 8.5/10 (feels comfortable and sporty) Power/Pick-up/Braking/Balance: 8.5/10 (Not bad for sub-4m compact SUV, I can reach 140-150 KM/h without much effort and the balance is decent at these speeds too) Mileage: 8.5/10 (Highways: 22, City: 13.5, not bad at all atleast in metro cities where traffic is as slow as a snail) Looks and vibes: 9/10 (It's a really good-looking compact SUV in this price point, and the moon roof or compact sun roof adds to the overall vibe of the car very nicely) Price-point: 9/10 (Decent pricing for the overall package offered by Honda) Overall satisfaction: 9/10 It all depends on what you need from a specific car: If it's the overall package at a decent pricing: Go for WR-V. If the requirement of preference is for something specific, like more BHP, or ground clearance or engine displacement etc. then there are plenty of options to explore.
