Value for money packages!

Hyundai xcent has been a strong contender amongst the honda amaze,tata zest,maruti dzire. It almost gets everything Right in its price range apart from a few cons as mentioned (not a deal breaker though) There is room for improvement in small areas such as the air conditioner unit..it might need a stronger compressor (it gets the job done but could do with better cooling) The engine is smooth and refined and even the gearbox is sleek and fits in right. The power comes at about 1700 rpm after which it gets vocal and it's best to upshift early and drivers will never complain in terms of driveability. Comfort and convenience are on point..and will surely bring a smile on the passengers. The boot is spacious at 410 liters and can accommodate 2 big suitcases and small cabin bags. The quality of interiors are also exellent and there is no visible cost cutting done. It also has soft touch plastics and quality is definitely a notch above from the segment. Overall it is a value for money package and one can definitely go ahead and buy it.

    Perfect Compact Sedan.
    I have owned two Hyundai Xcent base model for tourist purpose, one out of that car clutch plate I changed at 198000km which was even working fine but to avoid sudden breakdown of my car I changed it otherwise it could have run few more kilometers for sure, apart from that spare parts price is almost similar to Maruti cars, the handling I feel better than Maruti Dzire and when I bought this car that time this was the only one car which was offering good feature but price lesser than Maruti desire and honda amaze after 5 years as well I am getting milage 20-22km per liter without AC which is pretty cool and current km reading is approx 2.2lakh km but still no engine issues, for personal use also this is a low budget perfect compact sedan

    Awesome Car.
    Hyundai Xcent is the best car which I have ever I used, It had a very good pickup with less maintenance cost.

    Scammers Hyundai
    It is not good for traveling the city drive. Its body is not solid. This car is really bad. Not value for money. Hyundai scam with us.

    Good Mileage But Frequent Complaints
    Despite giving the best cooling, I still consider the AC as a failure in Xcent. I have been using Xcent Diesel since 2015. Most of my usage is within the city for office commute and weekend trips to nearby places putting it close to 1000 km per month on average. The car usually performs well within city. But on highways, the car usually struggles besides engine noise. The pathetic part is the AC. I usually service at authorized Hyundai service centers and despite regular annual service(once every 10k km), I had to change AC coil every year for the last 3 years. Having driven close to 60k km, AC stopped working completely including compressor failure, thermostat, coil costing close to Rs. 40,000 on service charge. On the whole, Xcent, though offers good mileage, comes with a lot of maintenance in spite of safe handling.

    Executive For Executives.
    Hyundai Xcent is a car built for and to be used by the executive class only..at the moment when I bought it, it had great features as per cost factors. The car is ok with performance on CNG, but the performance of petrol is somewhere better than market standards.
