Nissan Micra Read These Positiv ಇಎಸ್‌ Before Buying

Buying a car is always a tough decision and it happened with me too. My heart was inclined towards Scorpio but mind was saying Hyundai i20. Right from the beginning I was looking out for a 7 seater vehicle although I have small sized family. And since I was a first time buyer, many suggested me to go for a hatchback as driving in cities for a newbie is something challenging. So, finally after a lot of brainstorming I decided to go for a hatchback. But here came the real confusion, there were plenty of options in front of me in this department too. However, as my preference was a fuel efficient and feature-rich hatchback, the list of cars became short. My list included Swift, Hyundai i20, Etios Liva, Ford Figo and Nissan Micra. The waiting period for Maruti Swift was too much and there were already too many of them running on the roads, so it was cancelled. Hyundai i20 was costing me more than Rs. 7 lakhs, so it was also out of my list. I was not very confident about Ford Figo and also heard a lot of issues regarding the brand. Etios Liva is a spacious car but exteriorly and interiorly not appealing. So, the only option remaining was Nissan Micra and I decided to go for it for several reasons. 1. Cute looking Japanese car 2. Push button start 3. Excellent performance with mileage always above 20kmpl in mix conditions. 4. Super light steering that really makes driving a comfortable experience 5. Low maintenance cost unlike popular views that maintaining Nissan cars is costly 6. Standard driver airbag 7. Dual colour theme with excellent visibility 8. All round comfort in terms of space 9. Excellent boot space 10. One of the best quality music systems I have seen However, there were downsides also with this car and I will honestly point those out. First, the ground clearance of the car can be improved and there are insufficient storage areas across the cabin. The clutch seems to be slightly hard while driving. But all these negatives in front of the list of positives I have pointed out can be ignored. Overall, I think Nissan Micra is a fun to drive car. It's over 6 years of driving this car and it never fails to impress me.
