I am reviewing old Baleno. This car is best the Maruti as ever released. Classy, powerful and smooth. It had a 1.6-litre engine 15 years back. Imagine the power at that time. It was simply a beast. I don't know why they have stopped after 2006. They could have continued and redesigned like how Honda did for City.

I have only driven the AT version and the CVT is smooth but lags a bit. Overall, the car is average built and a good city commuter vehicle.

It's the coolest car I have ever had. Just loved it a lot. I use it for daily purpose, it gives me a pleasure of driving & the satisfaction of having a cool car like Baleno.

Easy to drive in the city, city mileage is 20+ for diesel.

Baleno is a great small family car at such a low budget.

Great family car, spacious, great looks, but the diesel engine is flat under 2000rpm and build quality is not satisfactory. Else is great.

Spacious, it's lightweight so the performance is high, Effective AC, Average comfort on the rear seat. Somehow, a noise issue is there, balancing is quite attractive, music system and sound is excellent.
