Nice Car
I have driven 13000 km in approx 6+ months. Almost tested all features. The Interior is modern with great comfort. The torque is fabulous. This car is by far the most likable SUV in India. Best for long drives. Powerful steering wheel. Beats the traffic faster. Smooth experience. Easily maintainable.

1 Year Of Owning Experience With MG Hector
1-year experience with MG Hector petrol hybrid manual smart variant. I have not faced any problems to date. I am getting a mileage of 11-13kmpl in the city and 15-18 on the highway. I am a happy owner.

Poor Quality
Very poor. I got a very bad experience with MG. They don't have any quality check process. I got a car having a defect on the fabric portion. The fabric is not stitched at the backside of the driver seat. Till today the problem is unresolved.

Overall it's a nice car in terms of size, comfort. It has more disadvantages. I am not pointing out the mileage as it is expected due to the vehicle size. Poor Performance: The Overall Experience
Poor Performance: The overall experience with the MG Hector is good but I am not satisfied with the millage performance of this car. It gives me the average Millage 7.5 km per ltr due to this I have to sell my car within a month.

Poor Engine
We had the worst experience with My 1.5-year-old MG hector petrol automatic model. In just 15" rainwater this car got hydrostatically locked and had toe to service center After 1 week they just open the sparkplug and drain engine oil, in which they found some rust and water particles. Good For Decent Driving Conditions
Good for decent driving conditions. Do not expect adventurously and overtaking in petrol variant as pick up is slightly less compared to diesel engine. Very comfortable and smooth drive experience. City mileage comes around 10kmpl in petrol MT hybrid. Best family stylish SUV with bundled features in this segment.

Poor Product
Lucknow story. 2 nd day experience internal switch was not working as Chinese items are known for. 3 days after it is engine authentication failure. we planned for an outing today but all gone in vain.

Comfy, Spacious And Feature Loaded
This car is a comfy one. It has a great driving experience. Coming to the problems of MG there is a complete contrast from the BS4 engine last time. It's a great family car. I think you can get an MG Hector instead of Korean siblings Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta because the top variant of both the cars, the difference is just 1 lakh.
