The Tata Indigo eCS which is the flagship compact sedan from the esteemed stables of Tata Motor Group has been introduced with some major cosmetic updates in the Indian car market. The company has updated a total of eight models across five platforms along with the compact sedan model Tata Indigo eCS. With the launch of facelifted Tata Indigo eCS, the company will look to mark its presence in the compact sedan segment where Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire is leading with maximum sales. This facelifted compact sedan gets a new design front grille along with a new design interior cabin that makes it look plush from both inside and out. On the other side, it has been equipped with a refined CR4 diesel engine, which is further assisted by an advanced F Type gearbox that brings out enhanced performance of the engine. Apart from this, the company has incorporated a new type of suspension system that enhances the stability of this compact sedan on all form of roads. This seems to be like a step to arrest its loosing market share in the Indian auto market. This advanced CR4 diesel engine has the ability to churn out a 68.6bhp at 4000rpm and yields 140Nm of maximum torque output at 1800 to 3000rpm. It is further mated to a five speed F-Shift (TA65 cable shift) manual transmission gearbox, which enhances the fuel efficiency, power and performance of the facelifted Tata Indigo eCS LS trim.
