The first thing that comes to my mind is its space and comfort while going for long drives. Bought this car on 2013, drove more than 90000 km still engine and performance remains same. Read a lot of reviews while buying the car, no one suggested the Scala. Some say it's overpriced some asked me to go for the Sunny but somehow decided to stay with the Scala. Pros after using 90000km 1 ) Space: No car in 12 Lakh segment provides leg room space as the Scala. Its spacious interiors give us a lot of comforts. I used to have long drives with family (min 1500km) every two months. Everyone is comfort with it. 2) Mileage: Being a frequent traveller this is one of my major pros. I used to get 23 -25 km on highways and 16 -18 in the city. Mileage is constant from day 1 till today i.e after 90000km. 3) AC: I believe the automatic AC works really good in the Scala than most of its counterparts. You could feel the chillness in a matter of few mins even at peak temperatures during summer. 4) Safety: Nowadays cars coming with advertisements like ABS and EBD. Scala had this in 2013 itself. I have mid variant RxL. Good thing is it comes with ABS along with EBD and two airbags for the driver and co-passenger. These features come in the top variant in most of the other cars in this price bracket. 5) Boot space: With 490 litres you can accommodate everything you need for a long drive with the family. Cons: 1) Noise after reaching the speed of 120km/h. I feel this bit irritating as feel some noise after you reach this speed. But it's not that major constraint as we will not be touching that speed too often. If you ride between 80 -110 you'll feel awesome. 2) Interiors are bit sluggish, the dashboard is too plastic. they could have provided some more options Overall I am really satisfied with the Scala.   

Look and Style - Best in class style and looks, none of the other manufacturers can counter the aerodynamic design of this car. Comfort - Best seating comfort for 5 people, nothing is as good for long drive. Excellent drive comfort and feel fresh even after a long drive experience. Pickup - Really, good pickup compared to any other diesel variant, all thanks to the K-9 series engine. Very less noise compared to most diesel engines. Mileage - In the city, I was getting anything between 12 to 16 kmpl which is remarkable for a mid-size sedan segment. On highways, this touches 18 to 21 kmpl depending on the road conditions. Best Features: This is a big car and very handy to drive. ABS / EBS / Intelligent system make this car remarkable on hairpin bends and tough roads. Driver's pride. Needs to improve: Maybe the music system (which uses the CD players these days) and aircondition winds for the rear side. Overall Experience: Excellent value for money we spend.

Renault Scala looks and style are quite satisfactory.  Comfort : Even the comfort level is quite great and the cabin is spacious which no other sedan offers within this price range.  Pickup : It's even better, more than satisfactory.  Mileage: That's where it goes down. Quite poor than being claimed. The first tank fill gave an average of 19.9kmpl on the highway which is now giving only 16kmpl while in the city it is 15+kmpl only. In spite of complaints, it was attended and improved to 17.5 kmpl but again in the next fill, it failed. The true defect/shortcoming has not been resolved. Therefore, since prices of Petrol and Diesel now coming to par - the purpose of savings on fuel is defeated. So why pay more for diesel variant cars.  Best Features: Nice pick up and smooth driving even speed exceeding 100 Km on the highway. The probably need to work on the mileage part, rest everything is good.

Look and Style : Apperently the car is just Awesome in its look and very stylish. It makes people turn their head when passed through. Comfort: Very specious car. You wont get tired if you go on a long trip. Very relaxing and comfortable car. Pickup: Compared to other car its amazing. Mileage: Milage in city is 17 to 18 and on Highway its 21 kmpl. Best Features: Feature wise its good. Needs to improve: Upgrade their Music System. Overall Experience: Delivers more than expected. Will give advice to buy this car if you looking for all aspect. Value for money. Service is also very good of Renault Karnavati, Ahmedabad. People are very helpful and honest.

Look and Style: It looks nice and pretty stylish. Front and rear view are so cool especially my pearl white gives a royal look in the night view.  Comfort: Main reason to opt this car was the comfort and the leg room it provides.  Pickup: It's damn good. I am happy with the pickup and I enjoyed driving it especially on the highways. Very easy to overtake. ABS & EBD+BA gives a lot of confidence while speeding. I had a good response to breaking in some emergencies.  Mileage: 16 to 17 on city limits and approx 19 on highways.  Best Features: Start/Stop button, smart key and spacious leg room. Needs to improve.  1. Outdated music system (wondering how could they sell a high-end car which does not even have a USB support)  2. Dashboard space is very very small and I am finding it difficult to keep even CD covers in it.  3. Could have provided Sun Roof option.  4. Even little stagnant water on roads causes a heavy noise from the mud guards and vehicle drifts on its sidewards due to water pressure. This happened to me above 80kmph speed. Engineers have to look into this matter as I could have hit the road separators and luckily I escaped from a near miss.  Overall Experience: Good

Look and Style : 9/10 Comfort : 10/10 Pickup : Better than average, not best in class. 7/10 Mileage : 18-20 in city, was able to get around 22 on highway on only highway ride till now. Best Features : Space inside the car , average, FEEL. Needs to improve : Pickup is the only minus point to me. Overall Experience : Excellent till now (over 2500 kms)

Look and Style Excellent Comfort very comfortable Pickup Very good. Mileage 17 km/l with AC on Best Features city driving without accelration paddle. Needs to improve Give blue tooth and memory attachment. Overall Experience Very good. I would like to suggest all who own Scala that It should not be accelrated beyond 2000 rpm when you have not shifted to 5th gear.And try to maintain ONE speed as soon as possible to get maximum milage.I have observed even at 110 km.hr speed if the speed is sablized meter showing average will give 30 km/l avg.So this the mantra for getting max average.Tyre size is bigger than sunny , it's sister. By reverting back to 185/70 R14 average may go up.It is research question.Rest the deal is better than many current competitors in this section.Nissan and renault are using this engine , so no shorage of spares should be there.

Quite staisfactory- I do understand the reason for people being reluctant in going for this car. Reason 1- New car, dont know how it would be?- Absolutely great, stands out amongst its competitors. Mileage , Leg space, boot space way ahead. Pick up not bad at all. Another reason- After sales service- well, I did receive calls from Renault Pune, asking for a feedback- showing clear indications how comiiteed they are towards improving themselves as far as customer feedback is concerned.Also my first servicing is done and I did visit the service centre. It was equipped with all the latest ammenities and also there ws tranperancy in the system. I feel, absolutely no issues, its totally worth the money.   Cheers.
