I bought LXI (O) 2016 car on year end of 2016.My previous vehicle is also wagon r LXI 2008 model. The reason why I choose wagon R is for its ground clearance and ease in the driving and mostly I use this vehicle for local travelling (Max 100 Km) not for long distances (My view above 500 kM). The drive will feel more or less same but controls on dash board changed a bit and design of the exterior were modified. Drive feels like smooth on high way but needs more smooth running even in lower gears where present new wagon R is moving little rough on down side feels like a heavy load it's pulling even on single drive. May be I hope it will change after first service. Gear shifting is okay while coming down or going up but a little jerk is observing every time while changing in between gears on highways. Coming to the space it gives excellent boot space in front and rear side. Comfortably five members can travel including driver. Rear cabin space is quite ok but low compared to my previous wagon R. Knee space at the front and rear seats are quite comfortable for an average height of 170-180cm person. The roof space is also good for the same you feel that sat on the above height sofa not like floor sofa where I feel in some sedans. Lighting in the night drive it is giving good visibility up to 5 metres while in night drive with good ground clearance where I feel very much important for Indian village roads. Coming to the most interesting part of mileage it's giving me an average of 20 kmpl before its first service. The main draw back in wagon R I felt is you can feel the vibration/jerk if you crossed a speed of 90 Kmph. You can observe if you park your vehicle on road side if any speedy vehicle crosses your wagon R can feel the movement in the vehicle may be because of vehicle body is very light.
