I wonder why people are complaining about what. When you own a Jeep, it's like owning a house of your own. You clean it and take care of the house, right? So, why not your car? I am a Jeep petrol automatic owner and love the way my car is. This is the best car money can buy in this budget. Go for it! Here are some of the highlights: Mileage - 10 in the city Comfortable car Best AC Safe, like safe can be Road presence is top-notch Only 15k per year for service Parts are much more reliable than other Indian brands Good ground clearance Amazing sound and screen quality What else can one ask for? I feel like most of the people posting here are just jealous or are competitors trying to bash Jeep.

I owned a manual diesel before and got an AT 4x4 Model S on June 23. Between the old and new Compass, there is a massive difference in ride and feel. Aesthetics are fabulous. I was worried about the service, but then I realized that the service, too, is rated 5/5. I highly recommend a Jeep.  

The main issues with this vehicle are the high service cost and excessive consumption of DEF. The rates mentioned online for the 1st paid service are misleading as the actual cost turned out to be around Rs 24,000. Additionally, the DEF consumption is much higher compared to other diesel vehicles in this segment. The mileage in city conditions, like Chandigarh, is only 5-7 km/l, which is disappointing.

In comparison features in the Jeep Compass are very low. Basic features are given only. Safety & ride quality is good. Driver seat position and leg movement are very uncomfortable and painful during the long journey. no space of left leg while driving. no lumber support. Co-passenger & 2nd row seats are very comfortable. The mileage is very low. The cost of service and spares is too expensive. Very few service centers even in Mumbai and may not be available in smaller places. check your dealers for service before buying. This is a big minus while buying.

My buying experience with the Jeep Compass was truly remarkable. I had been researching various SUVs in the market, and after careful consideration, I shortlisted the Jeep Compass for several reasons. Firstly, its rugged and bold design instantly caught my attention. The combination of modern styling and classic Jeep elements made it stand out from its competitors. Additionally, the reputation of Jeep as a brand known for its off-road capabilities and durability played a significant role in my decision. Pros and Cons: The Jeep Compass offers numerous advantages that have enhanced my driving experience. One notable pro is its exceptional handling both on and off the road. The advanced 4x4 system provides excellent traction, making it capable of tackling various terrains with confidence. The powerful engine options deliver impressive performance and a satisfying driving experience. Moreover, the interior is well-designed, featuring premium materials and modern technology, including a user-friendly infotainment system. However, it is essential to acknowledge a few cons as well. The cabin space, while adequate for most passengers, may feel slightly cramped for taller individuals in the rear seats. Additionally, fuel efficiency could be better, especially in urban driving conditions. Overall Performance: The performance of the Jeep Compass has exceeded my expectations. The engine provides a good balance of power and fuel efficiency. The car delivers a smooth and responsive ride, with its suspension effectively absorbing bumps and imperfections on the road. The acceleration and pickup are impressive, allowing for confident overtaking and merging on highways. Furthermore, the cabin offers a comfortable and quiet environment, making long drives enjoyable. Mileage and After-Sales Service: In terms of mileage, the Jeep Compass performs decently considering its segment and engine specifications. However, it is important to note that actual mileage may vary depending on driving conditions and individual driving habits. Regarding after-sales service, Jeep has done a commendable job in providing a satisfying ownership experience. The service centers are easily accessible, and the staff is knowledgeable and courteous. Regular maintenance costs are reasonable, and the availability of genuine spare parts gives me confidence in the long-term ownership of the vehicle.

The mileage of this car varies significantly, offering approximately 7-8 km per liter in city conditions and around 14-16 km per liter on the highway. As the owner of a Jeep Compass S model 4x4 AT, I initially experienced a mileage of 10-11 km per liter, but after the first service, it dropped to 7-8 km per liter. It is puzzling to me how other Jeep Compass owners claim to achieve a mileage of 14-15 km per liter.  

I have been driving the compass limited 4X4 diesel for some years now. I purchased the 2018 version second-hand with low kilometres on it. Driving a jeep is a pure statement and this car does give that pleasure to the fullest. It stands out in the crowd and has a brilliant road presence. I use the car primarily as a long tour vehicle and occasional city driving. Pros: Its riding comfort is brilliant. I don't bother with bad roads, bumps and large potholes as I can maintain my speed and zoom ahead at ease on highways while others slow down. There is no wobble when navigating bad roads and Rocky tracks. The offroad feature is basic and not pure but it does the job very well in non-extreme conditions. Its acceleration is superb and its torque is brilliant for low crawling. The car is one of the safest in India and it does feel like a tank but it's easy to navigate even in tight situations. Cons: The highway tyres are not good for offroad. So do upgrade to AT tyres like Goodyear. The mileage in the older model is poor with the city giving 8 kmpl. Highways, if you drive at 80 mph will give you 15 but I use this beast for pleasure so I take it up to 150 mph so naturally my mileage is low at 12.5 kmpl. The car's maintenance is on the higher side. Parts availability is delayed. Service centres are rare which is scary since offroading has its issues and there is no support in any cities except major cities.

Driven only 40000 kms. Vehicle protection system failure all of a sudden. I Drove out of the parking and after closing the gate, the vehicle didn't start. The battery is okay replaced just 2 months ago. Didn't move an inch, I had to dismantle the electronic steering lock, which was a Herculean task, to make it movable. when I asked the service center about the snag their answer was, it is a machine and any machine can develop faults. I was traveling with my family including two small kids. In addition, when I raised the issue with the customer care/ support team, all they could say is sorry. They were not courteous enough to forgo the charges. Now I will sell it and recommend all not to buy Jeep in India.
