Big Things In Big Package-2018 Hyundai Creta SX AT

Our first Hyundai purchase was Grand i10, a car equipped with features that were not seen on any hatchback. Servicing cost sometimes went upto 10000 which were a bit expensive. Now we wanted a big car with ample space inside. We had shortlisted three cars- 2018 Ecosport, Verna and Creta. We took test drive of all three cars and were particularly impressed with Creta. Keeping in mind that performance was not a crucial factor for us. Ecosport was loaded with features but the car looked cramped from inside. There was absolutely no space for passengers and the car just felt Hatchback from inside. Now coming to Verna, we took test drive of Diesel AT and were impressed. But again the space inside just felt okay, and more like Elite i20 with 1.6 CRDI engine. We took test drive of Creta from the same dealer. It was SX AT Diesel and the first thing you would hear is the engine noise inside cabin.Space inside the cabin was just perfect for us. With the driver seat all pulled backwards, the rear passenger had ample knee room. The new 2018 Creta had Sunroof too, which was always desired. 1.6 litre engine performance was also good for quick overtaking. We immediately book 2018 Creta ( Phantom Black) SX AT Petrol from Sanjay Hyundai. The waiting time for facelift model was merely 1 month. Overall buying experience was great from Sanjay Hyundai.Now coming to Pros and Cons of car. Pro- 1) The car feels huge and definitely makes a good road presence. 2) Petrol Engine is refined with good power on tap. 3) Sunroof is great add on. 4) Cabin space is great for all passengers. 5) Doors close with thud noise assuring great build quality. 6) Arkamys Audio is Best in class. 7) Ride Quality for City is good. Cons- 1) Projector Halogens is not expected on 16 lakhs car. 2) Expected Economy would be 11-13 kms 3) No Disc brakes at back. 4) Only 2 Airbags for SX variant. 5) No Heated Seats, No automatic wipers nor Headlights. If your buying this car , you would find more features on Verna for more less price. But if your looking for Space and Looks then it's definitely your next purchase.
