The best proven and tested premium hatch in the country which is being sold from almost 8 years. Petrol engine really excels but diesel lacks punch when compared to segment-leading Ford's diesel engine. If you are drunk with the wine of youth then close your eyes and get this. Suzuki is well known for its after-sales service as well.

Swift 2018 model is very good, but the body is very delicate & light. Any light pressure on the engine cover or doors will distort & looks very awkward. As if the vehicle met with an accident, the maker has to compromise with the body safety & it is a huge burden on the customer pockets. Could be better.. if I say the only problem I see is a medium grade plastic interior and not having a heavy grade steel body. Otherwise, the average is quite good.. in cities and highway also. The engine is very powerful. Just try to make it less jerky while gear shift. There must be a back reading lamp, a really bright reading lamp.

I bought the Swift ZXi petrol. Initially it was fun to drive but later on, several problems came up like pick up issue and engine vibration. Worst performance in traffic especially when AC is on.

Car is excellent with a smooth engine but build quality is not good even a small scratch can make the car in shape out it must be improved and they have to give airbags, ABS, EBD and alloy wheels to every model because it is necessary to have these features to save the life so think and buy it. I will suggest to improve there build quality.

Compromise in body paint quality and body sheet metal. It's too delicate. Car gets a scratch even while wiping dust from body. there is no complaint on engine and gearbox, though gears are not so smooth but managable. Ride quality is ok. It seems Maruti has only focussed on mileage and not the quality of the car.

Good car for a small normal family give good milage provide good features in basic price some manufacturing defects in a new car like window sounding and body gaps and diesel engine produce too much sound but overall good car for daily uses and small family's. Back door handle feeling some time not good and uncomfortable too.

It is a very excellent car but sometimes I find that built quality is not good as compared to other cars in the segment but there is comfort in both the city and on the highway.
