The Hyundai Grand i10 is a car that according to me is far beyond its competitors and I will give few examples for the justification of above-given statement. Talking about my car which is 2014-August Grand i10 Asta Diesel which for now has completed almost 4.5 years, the car still feels solid and strong as it was when it was new, the build quality is just superb, fit and finish of the car has not changed a single bit from the time it was purchased, there is minute or negligible noise from the body or inside the cabin. Now if we talk about the practicality of the car then too it scores good, the car looks like compact sized vehicle from exterior but spacious from inside, there are lots of spaces inside the cabin which will make the passenger feel roomy and comfortable, the only negative here is the ground clearance of the car which is low according to indian road conditions, the car sometimes touches from front bumper, but it is not a thing of concern, next I will talk about its fuel economy and engine performance, since my car is a diesel engine so, I will be talking about that particular powertrain, it is moderate powered engine, it will not feel underpowered or overpowered, the power to weight ratio is good, the car is not meant to be driven on race track but overall the engine power is good, since it is a 3 cyl, 1120 cc, engine the fuel economy is between 20 to 23 KMPL which is perfect for a car with good power and body weight, the body weight of the car helps in great stability at high speeds. These all were good things about the car, but it does have few negatives also, they are At extremely high speed the steering is ultra light which will be uncomfortable to many people driving the car, comfort of front seat can be better, tyres are of low width which decreases braking performance, also brakes need timely maintenance for their hundred per cent efficiency.
