The second largest automobile firm in India, Hyundai Motors has updated its entire fleet of models including its compact sedan, Xcent. Powering this trim is the same 1.1-litre CRDi, U2, diesel engine that has a displacement capacity of 1120cc . The company designed this engine on DOHC valve configuration and incorporated it with common rail direct injection system. It comprises of 3-cylinders and 12 valves that enables it to produce a maximum power of 71Bhp at 4000rpm while generating a commanding torque of 180Nm in the range of 1750 to 2500rpm.
