I liked the indica as when i gone to purchase a car in tata showroom. I liked its fully mechanical controlled engine in which any kind of sensor is used in the engine. Good for travels
Good : GOOD STABILITY,SAFETY ON HIGHWAYSBad : sluggish with AC on because of 54 bhp only It is about TATA INDICA DLG BSIII which I purchased in 2004 April. The car is really wonderful on highways with excellent stability ,vibration free inner environment and comfortable seating for 3 adults in the back. A best fuel economy car which gives you a mileage of 20kms per ltr diesel with ac, good condition on engine..you can enjoy with out any more investment

GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY
Pickup : With this DOWN-TO-EARTH-PRICED diesel car you can't expect fast pick-ups. But on highways and long drives performance is superb. Mileage : On long drives, I get 18 with A/C on. Tata Indica is a good car in its segment
I live in Delhi and my commutation to office includes a drive of 30kms per day apart from the evening outings that again are long distanced. I was pretty clear before buying a car that fuel economy is very important to me and that I wanted to go in for a Diesel car.
